We are pleased to announce the Cluj Endovascular Meeting (CEM), 1st Edition, to be held in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, on May 7–8, 2026.

This meeting is conceived as a multidisciplinary endovascular forum, aimed at fostering collaboration between vascular surgeons, cardiologists, interventional radiologists, neuroradiologists, gastroenterologists and nephrologists, with a focus on decision-making, complication solving and real-world practice.

The event is organized under the auspices of the ‘’Iuliu Hațieganu University of Medicine and Pharmacy’’ Cluj Napoca, Cluj County Emergency Clinical Hospital, the Medical Association for Education and Research in Vascular and Endovascular Surgery, the Romanian Society of Vascular Surgery, and the Romanian Society of Angiology and Vascular Surgery.

The scientific program will begin on Thursday, May 7th, following a pre-conference hands-on endovascular workshop, and will continue through Friday evening.

Main topics include:

• Aortic and aorto-iliac disease
• Peripheral arterial disease and limb salvage
• Venous interventions
• Vascular access
• Neurovascular and carotid disease
• GI bleeding, TIPS and visceral interventions
• Interventional oncology

International and national experts will deliver case-based sessions, multidisciplinary panels and complication-focused discussions, as well as live and in-the-box cases.
